Fino All'alba

An evening that begins with too much on your mind, a phone full of unfinished messages, and no particular expectations. Then someone shows up, smiles, says “come with me”, and everything changes.

“Fino all’alba” (Until Dawn) tells the story of an unexpected encounter that doesn't need grand declarations. Two people find themselves sharing a night of music, laughter, and the kind of connection that sometimes happens without any explanation.

Neither knows what the following day will bring, and perhaps that isn't the point. There are no promises to make and no need to decide where things are going.

It's a song about those seemingly ordinary moments that can stay with us much longer than we expect.

The words.

Strofa 1

Stanotte ho tolto il freno

e lascio andare il mondo

ho il cuore fuori tempo

ma il ritmo mi tiene sveglio

Avevo mille pensieri

buttati sopra il telefono

messaggi mai finiti

e un silenzio poco comodo

Poi arrivi tu per caso

con gli occhi pieni di casino

mi dici solo “vieni”

e cambia l’aria del mattino

Pre-Ritornello

E sale, sale, sale

questa voglia di mollare

tutto quello che fa male

tutto quello che non vale

E batte, batte forte

questa notte sa di vita

e non chiede mai il permesso

Ritornello

Fino all’alba, senza paura

questa musica ci cura

gira il cielo, gira la stanza

mi rimane addosso questa danza

Fino all’alba, senza pensare

non c’è niente da spiegare

se domani cambia tutto

questa notte vale di più

Post-Ritornello

Vale di più

uh uh uh

questa notte vale di più

Strofa 2

Ho messo via le scuse

le giornate tutte uguali

le facce di chi parla

ma non sa guardarti mai

Tu ridi e fai rumore

come estate sui balconi

mi togli dalla testa

tutti i vecchi temporali

Pre-Ritornello

E sale, sale, sale

questa voglia di mollare

batte forte, fa rumore

e non chiede mai il permesso

Ritornello

Fino all’alba, senza paura

questa musica ci cura

gira il cielo, gira la stanza

mi rimane addosso questa danza

Fino all’alba, senza pensare

non c’è niente da spiegare

se domani cambia tutto

questa notte vale di più

Bridge

Non promettermi per sempre

non mi serve l'eternità

dammi un minuto vero

che mi resta sulla pelle

Ritornello finale

Fino all’alba, senza paura

questa musica ci cura

gira il cielo, gira la stanza

mi rimane addosso questa danza

Fino all’alba, senza pensare

se domani cambia tutto

questa notte vale di più

Finale

Vale di più

uh uh uh

fino all’alba tu

BEHIND THE SONG

How it began.

I've always found it interesting how certain people can completely change an evening without doing anything extraordinary.

Maybe you've gone out even though you weren't really in the mood. You're still thinking about the day you've had, messages you haven't answered, and others you've written but never sent. You're physically there, but your mind is somewhere else.

Then someone unexpected comes along.

They don't ask what's wrong, they don't try to solve your problems, and they don't give you a long speech. They look at you, say “come with me”, and before you know it, you're laughing and dancing.

That's the situation I wanted to capture in “Fino all’alba”.

What I liked most was the idea of an encounter that doesn't necessarily have to turn into a love story. It might be the beginning of something, or it might remain just one beautiful night worth remembering.

And I don't think there's anything wrong with that.

We're so used to looking for what comes next, searching for explanations or reassurance, that sometimes we forget to enjoy what's happening right in front of us.

There's a line in the song that sums up this thought: “Don't promise me forever. I don't need eternity.”

It isn't a rejection of love or the possibility of building something together. It's simply the desire to experience a moment without weighing it down with expectations.

Because not everything that matters has to last forever.

Sometimes all it takes is one night, someone you meet by chance, and a memory that can still make you smile years later.

Keep listening.
