Golden Hour

“Golden Hour” is a musical tribute to the venue of the same name in Manduria, southern Italy, a place to enjoy good cocktails, meet friends, and spend an evening together.

The track captures that atmosphere through raised glasses, music, conversation, and the simple pleasure of sharing a night out.

The repeated chorus puts the venue's name at the centre of the song, making Golden Hour itself the main character.

A musical tribute to a local venue in my hometown, inspired by the idea that even a favourite place to spend an evening can become the subject of a song.

BEHIND THE SONG

How it began.

Not every song needs a complicated story behind it. Sometimes, all it takes is a place you know and feel like celebrating.

“Golden Hour” is my small musical tribute to a venue in Manduria that shares the song's name.

It's a place to enjoy a good drink, spend time with friends, and have a pleasant evening. I liked the idea of turning the venue's name into a chorus, something immediate, recognisable, and easy to remember.

So I imagined a song in English that could accompany that atmosphere without needing an elaborate storyline.

There are raised glasses, friends, music, and the simple enjoyment of spending a few hours together.

I deliberately repeated “Golden Hour” throughout the song because I wanted the venue itself to be the main focus, rather than an invented character or story.

It's a spontaneous tribute to a local business in my hometown, and a personal way of using music to give some recognition to a place I believe deserves it.

And after all, when you find somewhere that feels good and serves great drinks, why not dedicate a song to it?

Keep listening.
