We Become the Sound

“We Become the Sound” is an electronic dance track about the moment when music stops being something we simply listen to and becomes something we feel part of.

As the city fades into darkness, the dancefloor comes alive. Lights, movement, voices, and bass blend together, creating an atmosphere where even the words seem to become part of the beat.

The lyrics move between Italian and English, using short phrases and repetition to follow the energy of the music. Expressions such as “Dance, move, glow” and “Beatglow, nightpulse” become rhythmic elements in their own right.

There's no particular story to follow and no single main character. Instead, the track captures a shared experience in which everyone remains an individual while becoming part of something larger.

Because when the rhythm brings everyone together, we're no longer just listening to the music.

We become the sound.

BEHIND THE SONG

How it began.

With “We Become the Sound”, I wanted to explore an idea: what happens when we stop simply listening to music and begin to feel as though we're part of it?

I imagined a dancefloor filled with people, lights, and sounds constantly interacting with one another. Nobody necessarily moves in exactly the same way, yet everyone shares the same rhythm.

That image led me towards a different kind of song, one that doesn't follow a particular story or try to describe a single emotion.

This time, I didn't want one main character. I wanted a crowd.

I chose to alternate between Italian and English because I liked the way the two languages could blend naturally without interrupting the movement of the track. The chorus is deliberately simple, too. “Dance, move, glow” doesn't need an explanation. The words follow the rhythm and become part of it.

I also used expressions such as “Beatglow” and “Nightpulse” almost like musical elements. They're combinations of words that suggest light, movement, and the constant pulse of electronic music.

The title eventually became the clearest expression of the whole idea.

I like to think that when people dance together, music becomes more than something coming out of the speakers. Their movements, reactions, and shared energy become part of the experience itself.

That's what I wanted to imagine in this track: not one particular night or a specific story, but a moment when music and people seem to become one.
